INTERIOR | A Magazine Spread On The Wall

Photobucket

Photobucket

Eeek! I get the heebie-jeebies when I see a torn out Vogue page taped to someone's wall. Now that editorial is incomplete, and your magazine archive is incomplete, and the story printed on the back of the page has no ending. I get anxious when seeing a fold halfway down Kate Moss's face or worse a damaged cover. But still the pages of my mags get to see daylight every now and then :) So this is what I do to keep those mags intact and at the same time enjoy their content constantly. Hang them on large paper clips.

i have the same problem with tearing out pages i really want to hang on my wall but at the same time i love treating my magazines as if they were books. you wouldnt tear a page out of book, wouldnt you? thanks for solution!

God how I love your minimalitic style!
Zo slim hoe je van een tijdschrift gewoon een object hebt gemaakt voor aan de muur.

Great solution! Ik kan er ook niet tegen wanneer ik een uitgescheurde pagina zie! Een pagina uit een boek of magazine is niet meer het zelfde wanneer deze er nog in zit! De hele context en de feeling is dan weg! Waar heb je deze clips van?

So clean and pretty, but yet a really good idea. You're such a talent darling.

I absolutely love this idea! It allows for much more variation than just attaching a random page to your wall and letting it sit there forever. awesome :)

I know! Totally devalues a magazine!

That's so clever, I never tear out my magazines either. I know I would regret it at some point, so these clasps would be the perfect solution for me as well!

This is such a great idea. Ripping out of Elle is just sinful, you have solved a massive dilemma.

I couldn't tear a page out of a fashion magazine! Once I really wanted to pin a double paged Burberry spread to my wall, so I bought another magazine, just to tear that one picture out... sounds crazy, but well, that's me :)

That's so smart! I have tons of magazines that occupy a lot of space in my bedroom but I don't want to get rid of them. I'll think of doing something similar to make them useful!!

I think it's a great idea as you can just flip to another page and hang it up again when you're tired of seeing the same picture!

Why have I not ever thought of it! I love my magazines and I cringe every time I rip a page out of them-they just end up in the graveyard afterwards. You are the savior of my magazines.

you're so right! it always kinda hurts me to see ripped out magazine pages but every now and then you gotta be brave and just do it (or maybe cut it out with an exacto knife ;) ) to show what you've got and love.

loving your paper clip idea though! (why didn't i think of that before?) i'll totally try this - so chic and minimalistic.

I love this solution! I really want to have a wall where I can hang the inspiration I find in magazines, but my heart breaks, when I have to start tearing out the pages. Then I will have a destroyed magazine! :O Maybe I should try this.

Um, so simple, so brilliant.
I've a sleek metal book clip (holds books propped open) that's currently propping open a spread of Vogue Espana that I love. But this is just the perf inspiration for new apartment decor.
With graduation of undergrad comes a new place to live where I can put holes in the walls. Excited.
